Summer Bishil has been an American actor since 2015. She's known as Margo Hanon in the Syfy the fantasy-based series The Magicians. The actress gained recognition because of her performance in Towelhead as Jasira Marroun who is an American Lebanese girl of 13 who's thrown in turmoil due to the U.S. military's incursion into Iraq. In the following year she was selected as among Variety's 10 Actors to watch. She played another powerful character Taslima Jahangir in the 2009 crime drama film Crossing Over for which she received nominations for the Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female Lead category. She has also acted in movies like the Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and has played several guest roles on television apart from being the co-lead of Lucky 7.
