Allana represented Australia at the Rugby Sevens in 2013, then consecutive knee injuries forced Allana to stay off the field for several years before making her return to rugby league. Allana played with distinction for New South Wales during her first women's Rugby League game against Queensland in 2015, a game she also took part in during 2015. Allana can also be found on radio on her CV, and has made frequent appearances on 2GB's most rated Continuous Call Team. Outside of sport Allana is a qualified educator. Allana Ferguson has the unique accomplishment of playing for Australia in three different sports that include Rugby sevens (rugby league) along with touch, and also rugby union. Jillaroos' star Allana Ferguson was forced to bring an early end to her rugby league career after tearing her ACL a fourth time. She had torn the ligament at the same knee when she was 15 17 and 20-years-old and following a 4th tear, the time for Ferguson to retire was up. Ferguson, JILLAROOS playmaker and fourth year ACL injury victim, was forced to leave in the early hours. After suffering the injury in November during training, Ferguson was one of the faces of the women's league over the past several seasons, reported that news in The Courier Mail.
